Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of souQsy — the website, the marketplace, and everything in between. By creating an account, submitting a piece, or making a purchase, you agree to them. We've kept the language as plain as we can.

1. What souQsy is

souQsy is a curated marketplace for modest fashion. We connect buyers with sellers of pre-loved pieces and link out to new items sold by third-party brands. For pre-loved sales, souQsy facilitates the transaction between buyer and seller; we are not the seller of record for those items.

Links to new items lead to third-party retailers. Purchases made on their sites are governed by their terms, not ours.

2. Accounts

You need an account to save favorites and to sell. You're responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. You must be at least 18, or use the service with a parent or guardian.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse other members, or attempt to defraud the marketplace.

3. Selling on souQsy

Every submission is reviewed before listing. We accept pieces that meet our modesty guidelines, condition standards, and photography requirements. Acceptance is at our discretion, and a decline is not a judgment of you or your item.

By submitting, you confirm the item is yours to sell, is authentic, and matches your description — including condition, measurements, and any flaws. Misrepresented items may be returned at your expense and can lead to removal from the platform.

When your item sells, you agree to ship within the window stated on your listing and to provide tracking. Payment is released to you after the buyer confirms the item arrived as described, or after the dispute window closes.

4. Buying on souQsy

Pre-loved pieces are sold as described — read measurements, condition notes, and flaws carefully before purchasing. All listings are reviewed, but pre-loved means previously worn unless marked new with tags.

Your payment is held until the item arrives as described. If something isn't right, open a dispute within 72 hours of delivery and we'll step in.

5. Disputes and refunds

If an item never arrives, arrives damaged, or is materially different from its listing, contact us through the Help Center within 72 hours of the delivery date. We review evidence from both sides and our decision on the held payment is final.

Buyer's-remorse returns (wrong size chosen, changed your mind) are not covered unless the seller offers them. Check measurements before you buy — we require them on every listing for a reason.

6. Prohibited items and conduct

Counterfeit or replica items, items you don't own, stolen goods, and items that violate our modesty guidelines are prohibited. So are attempts to take transactions off-platform, harassment of other members, and fraudulent claims.

7. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of the photos and descriptions you submit, and you grant souQsy a license to display, edit (including background removal), and promote them in connection with the marketplace.

The souQsy name, design, and editorial content are ours. Please don't copy them without permission.

8. Liability

souQsy provides the platform as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of the transaction in question.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
